Default Bay Area Trackdays

Looking to take my S4 out on the track for the first time. I can't seem to find a good source of information for track days. Thanks!

check out www.thunderhill.com if this link doesnt take you to the calendar of events. Don't know anything about the event, but saw it on the calendar....

Nasa Pro Racing has a good HPDE structure with good instructors to learn from with their event page being http://www.nasaproracing.com/event and they run at Thunderhill and Sonoma (Infineon). NCRC (Norcal Racing Club) runs quite a few events at Thunderhill, Laguna Seca, plus Buttonwillow with their website being http://www.ncracing.org/ but I would suggest going with Nasa initially. I've also driven with GGLC (Golden Gate Lotus Club) with their cost being somewhat higher, but you get a lot of track time - six or seven 20' sessions. Nasa will be at Laguna Seca on 7/6-7/7 if you want to stop by. - Jim

I'm signed up for the August 11th event at Thunderhill through NCRC. Cost me $150ish plus an additional $100 for the instructor (since it's my first time out). Overall, I'm excited!

I'm going to track my VW though.

Try http://www.motorsportreg.com for tons of track days at local tracks. I am an instructor/coach. I would stay away from Nasa NorCal events if you are an intermediate. They are fine for never ever beginners. They tend to put too many people on the track at the same time. That is my beef..and for intermediates..lots of people lie about their experience and get into the faster run groups when they have no business being there.
