LED Tail Lamp Bulb Out Warning Fix - DIY Writeup
#15
Congrats! It's nice not having the double "bulb out" warning!
Two months so far and no probs w/teh resistors. I looked closely at the housing and I've seen a very small "opening" that looks like water could get in.
It faces inward toward the trunk on teh top, it looks like it would be easy to glue/epoxy a small piece of plastic or tape to prevent water from getting in.
Peace!

Re: LED Tail Lamp Bulb Out Warning Fix - DIY Writeup
Hello all, my S3 suffer with the same problem too after I installed the aftermarket LED similar to the A4 one. The running light is ok but when I press the brake pedal, warning from dash appears!
So, is this A4 LED fails even with the running light on? I just curious why the resistor is connected to the running light but not the brake light?
You help is highly appreciated!! Thanks!

Or if you arent mechanically inclined you can just buy a set from me and save the headache
email me and i can send you some pictures. Mine have resistors/load equalizers ALREADY built in. NO warning on dash what so ever.
