I bet you're so excited!!! Mine unloaded off the boat, but I haven't heard from the dealer yet. I think I'll call them today!! Mine's a lease...do you think I should get it clear wrapped?

Here's the email I got from the dealer:
"It's about a 10 day process, port and customs ... you'll be the first to know when it rolls in!"

So I guess I keep waiting. Maybe you could take pity on me A8Liter and do a drive-by in front of my house so I can drool on yours, haha.

Mine is still months away but I plan to clear wrap it as well as a deeper tint on windows.
My current car is clear wrapped like I am use to seeing maybe 18"=24" up the hood but the dealer says they now also do a entire hood wrap. The car will not shine as much and other than seeing the edge at an angle it seems like over kill. Either way better than a chip and you can always peel it off later.

Phantom Black Pearl
Black Int
Carbon Atlas Inlay
Driver Assist
Comfort Seat
LED headlights
Innovation Package
20" Wheels
Power Doors

I will add a wrap, darker tint, 19" winter wheel and tire package and hope to flash the ECU down the road to boost the power a bit.

Oh my! This car is AWESOME!!! Super smooth, effortless power, not a flaw or rattle anywhere, great looks, amazing technology, over the top interior finishes, etc etc etc! I'm also enjoying the adaptive "comfort seats" option. Seriously, getting a back massage while driving is beyond decadent. And I'm really glad I waited for the Daytona Grey Pearl too. I think this color is just beautiful!!!

It's so interesting to watch the car shift gears and drop in and out of 4-cylinder vs 8-cylinder modes. I watch it doing these things, but these shifts are absolutely seamless and imperceptible. I wonder if Audi has remapped the shifting, because I don't sense any turbo lag, clunky gear shifts at low speeds, or any of the negatives I have seen on earlier reviews on the web. Flawless is the only way to describe its performance.

I was driving around with my wife today. I punched it hard coming out of a stop sign. As our bodies were pushed into the seats, she grinned and said, "just because you can!" I will upload some pictures eventually, as soon as I can stop driving this thing long enough to do so.

I've been out having too much fun lately to report in. I'm with you Doogie- this S7 is way more fun than the S5 we just sold. Still have a lot to learn, but am enjoying the process.
