Rain/Light Sensor help
Hi,
‘I’ve upgraded my light sensor to a train and light sensor but I’m lost as to whether I’ve put everything in the right place as I’ve got a few issues.
I’ve put the wire from sensor to J519 I’m lost as it’s still not working and the lights have some issues.
can anyone help please?

After this you have to remove all light sensor coding from the roof module.

Yes I’ve done that.
replaced with a Q variant and taken 512 from the roof module as per previous posts.
gives me a 01520 error on the rls - no signal/communication - intermittent
also the sidelights show a short/blown error
When I turn the lights on they flash up then turn off again. I then -turn them off and on again and they stay on.
was trying to find pictures of what to do but the posts are too old and the pictures have disappeared
I’ve got VCDS and looked at the coding but am still at a loss.
I’ve taken the power from the original light sensor power

Yes spliced in so the new wire is connected to the wire as it enters pin 31 on j519.
suspected the sensor may be faulty too but wanted to double check all avenues first.
was looking for pictures of the wiring to make sure I’d done everything right too
