A6 C6 steering wheel way too light on highway speed when turning left.
Hello.
So, as you can read from the title, that kind of problem occurred. I didnt have any play in tie rod ends (or in any suspension) but I thought I would change them because wheel was slightly off center and then when I bring it into shop they can easily align the wheels. (they needed a pretty good beating before I got the bolts out)
So, changed outer tie rods, went to alignment and now when driving you can feel that wheel turns to the left really really easily, you can feel it from 40-50km/h and on highway speeds its even worse, also it doesnt correct itself back to the center from left side on highway speed, from right side it corrects a bit. On a standstill or low speeds you cant really feel it and wheel corrects itself back. I could probably blow the wheel to the left on highway speed :/ We plugged OBD also, steering sensor is reading degrees etc correctly.
What do you think, did I damage the steering rack? Is there somekinda valve/solenoid that is stuck open etc?
English is not my first language and I pretty much wrote that in a hurry, if possible I will try to make a video to get a better glance at it and will try to answer to your questions ASAP and more clearly!
