Default Nothing going on over here with Ernesto coming over the east so here's the new mod Dahlback Air

intake.....the throttle response feels much nicer, don't hear much but I haven't really pushed the car since the install, not sure what its good for maybe 5-15 hp, looks incredibly aggressive. Bought it from Dahlback NA, (Danny) and installed by KMD Tuning in Westwood, NJ (Dion)

of course this thread would not mean much without the pics so here they are....

Default Drool... If it performed a 1/4 as good as it looks it would still be worth it. What a work of art!!

Amazing!

Default I can't hear the dv's blow off. With the exhuast and the car being so well insulated I can't hear

much of anything coming from the front...you can hear the turbo whine though.

Chirping could be due to bad turbo bypass valve,..Its supposed to stop that..

Default Looks cool but appears that it will suck nice hot air that's rising from the EM's in addition.....

to some cooler air from the front of the car.

Default looks awesome!

you should see if Steve Schwing (TT Forum and www.modshack.info) can adapt his CF intakes to cover/shield the air filters from the heat.

Default they look sweet!! do you think heat shields would make it perform better?

just from looking at the setup, you might be dropping some HP due to the hot air being sucked in from the engine bay. just my 2 cents...

Default Possilbly...but I'll take my chances and see what happens, if it doesn't work or there is heat soak

I will just swap it back out. But for now it will stay in. Thanks for the heads up guys.

Default Hot air intake conversion? I don't see how this can help...

Those air filters will be sucking hot air right off the motor, no?

Maybe I'm not 'getting' the picture from the picture, but it sure looks like a recipe for a hot air intake path...

How does it help?
