Default Re: don't think you'd leave skids on wet roads if that were true

It will leave a "clean" area where the tires slide depending on surface.

Default I agree with that.. what gets me is that the driver died

and was wearing a seat belt. Though we can't see the right side (driver) of the car - makes me wonder if something else happened, or just sheer impact caused him to die. Feel for the families and the innocent. But, again assumed risk is correct. Now the family of the driver will be broke, they will certainly be sued (on top of the loss of their son)

Default is that a definite ?

if the kid was older than 18 could the parents actually be sued ?

not that money is actually the importance here when you lose your child, but how does the law work like that is the kid wasn't a minor ?

Default I agree with the other post..

But I was involved in something similar. A car wreck, that wasnt my fault. But the two kids families sued my family because their name was on my first cars title. They didnt get anything, but they damn sure tried. Lost miserably in court Enough of that, what a tradgedy.

Default I think it was put in good context to be honest. Why candy coat the event?

It would have been different if he struck your child or relative. Just working as a reserve I see quite a bit out there - this incident is no different. ITs one thing if it's on a track and controlled. But this kid doing something like that - that remark is the least of what should have been stated. DOnt bast the trooper for the kids ignorance.
