Default Probably sound better than stock components IMHO.. why?

The door position of the tweeters is not very good to me, coupled with the rear speakers (in a bose setup, not sure for non) being way to overbearing, makes the imaging very wacky.

If you just took the stock system, and put coaxials in the front, I think it would help with imaging more, but it wouldn't be anything great.

The best thing to do is put in components in the front and attenuate the rears, or leave them amped off the factory deck which means they'll get less power and not be as overbearing.

I put Kicker Impulse seperates in my 2000 but they suspend the tweeter over the woofer.
