I know that the settlement reimburses owners for repairs due to failures, but I have never seen anything about vehicles that have not had a failure - yet. Has anyone had Audi cover replacing it before a failure?

I don't follow the lawsuit thread over on audizine since I'm way beyond 100k miles, but what I do remember seeing is that the lawsuit is not relevant to anyone attempting proactive replacement. Only after your engine blows up, and then of course, only a percentage of the repair costs. So they still stick it to you to prevent their crap from breaking in the first place. Go Go VAG.
