Electric fan problems
I have a 1998 Audi 2.8 v6 A4 Quattro. I have noticed when i sit in traffic the engine tends to get really hot. I noticed that the electric fan is not coming on even if i turn the ac on. So i thought maybe the motor was bad, wrong i rigged it up and it kicked right on, but when i plugged it back into the harness nothing. Any info or anything wouldbe awesome.

Re: Electric fan problems
It could be the fan switch. Located in the radiator or lower radiator hose. It could also be the fan relay. Does the air conditioner kick it on?
