Fox news was showing a clip of a "prisoner" in a Maywood jail being beaten by another prisoner. Looked like he was being repeatedly hit with a baseball bat. According to the news report, the poor guy was accidentally put in the cell as the result of a speeding ticket in Maywood. How's that for enforcement.

Got stopped for supposedly running a stop sign on Washington and 17th. Got a ticket for this and no seat belt. I always wear a seat belt, but it is hard to see in a TT. My ticket even had wrong car and tag number written on it. They even took me to an ATM to get cash money to pay them. Hmmmmmmmm. Finally went to court and got seat belt tossed and supervision for the other one. Never got my $75 back for the seat belt.

I don't trust the cops there further than I could toss one of the donut eating jerks.

Also had a gun pointed at me at same intersection a couple years earlier.

I'm just glad there was money in the ATM.

but I knew not to argue. They clocked him and pulled me over. He looks at my radar detector and says "I see that didn't do you any good." He asked me to get out of the car and verify my speed on the radar unit. I declined to and told him to write me the ticket. He looked so baffled like he wanted someone to pick a fight, but I knew better, even at my then young age. He was so pissed, but there was no way he was going to win that one.
