Back in the Audi fold with 2015 S8 - old member intro :)
Have had several Audi's since high school, with the last one being an order to spec 2014 S4 in Estoril Blue. Missed that car the day I sold it. Excited to be back in the fold with a CPO'd 2015 S8, Dakota over black and 13k miles - still smells new. Considered an S6, S7 and A8L but for some reason couldn't stop thinking about an S8. After speaking with a few dealers (some interesting experiences by the way), I couldn't be happier with Audi Westmont - they were great throughout the process and the S8 was exactly as described. Loved the B&O on the drive back to Iowa Friday!!

Congrats! I'm in DSM, hope to see your new ride around town. Guessing you are close with the Polk County plates in your avitar.
Looks like a beautiful car and yes, Audi Westmont is a very good dealer. I test drove a 15 S8 there this fall and they were great.

Nice to see another Iowan on here! Yes, actually in Clive/Dallas County now. Are you active in any local car clubs?

That's exciting! I've been considering buying exact same model and year for a few months now. Have an order in for a loaded Mercedes e43 but the dealer refuses to give me any kind of discount off msrp making the car seem very overpriced. Do you have the dreaded vibrations at 1000 and 3000 rpm? If so you should check out the thread here about that issue, the fix appears to be new down pipes. Do you mind sharing what you paid and what other option you have. Also, do you find the 31 inch rims result in harsh ride over rough roads? Thanks. Regards. Ned.
Have not noticed any of the vibrations, but honestly I haven't spent as much time with the car as I would have liked....had friends in town all weekend. It was like unwrapping a present and not being able to play with it for 3 days. The car has B&O, Driver Assist, Cold Weather, Media, 21" wheels. Email/PM me if you want to know other particulars. The 21" do not feel overly harsh to me, but I can hear some of the road noise, although compared to most other cars its still like driving a bank vault. My Macan had 20" and I ordered it with air suspension...I would say the tire noise is a bit more but the ride is comparable. Its also a tough time of year to make the comparison since the summer tires are bricks in these temperatures. Snow tire/wheel set will be a must, but Im going to worry about that for next winter.
