He probably means Motorgeek. It's easy to get flamed there is all. Just sneeze wrong... I'd suggest being well on your way to being successful before mentioning your project there.
The S1 wheelbase should be about 86.5 inches, so your math sounds correct.

Thanks Rog, Yeah I figured this would be a better starting point. And like I said I'm sure there have been plenty of feeble attempts at this kindof thing. And then there is the purists to deal with.
I just don't see any problem cutting up a $300 car and making it Bad Azz! I mean the Coupe GT is a cool car but I want a KOOL! car. And I have had enough front drive cars. I'm over it.
There are plenty of swaps I can do if I don't do a quattro swap. A rwd 1jzt, or rb26 would be hot too. With S13 rear end swap. But If I can I want to keep it all Audi. At least then the Haters can hate on their own brand. Haha

Sorry, the other side would be Quattroworld which can be a bad word around here.
Martin started this very same project. There may still be a writeup as far as he got out there somewhere. If you find him, he can offer advice. As I recall he had a new floor pan welded in or maybe just the old one cut out. It's been to long.

Oh yeah, Quattroworld can be a good place to find some of the die hard tinkerers. It's just more of a chat room than a forum, so definitely keep the real project threads on a site like this where they won't drop off the earth after a day or so.

It seems like all the various forums are fading. On the old Audiworld 80/90 forum there would be 30 new posts per day. Now just one or two. Pretty much the same at Quattroworld. Even the forums for newer models aren't very active.

We are a dying breed! Some Audi action on VWVortex but nothing in the coupe/4k forum.
I'm still researching this build but have a lot of my questions answered. At this point I probably just need to be locked in the garage with a bunch of parts and a fresh bottle of argon. I can already see the finished car in my mind. So it's already done.
It halls *** too BTW. Haha...
