Default IDEAS PLEASE!!!!!

Anyone out there ever convert power windows to crank on a 4kq, if so, what vehicle did you/they use parts from to do such. Any help would be great, tired of the motors or cables taking a crap. If no one has done it, well I will be the first!!!!

Im guessing a volkswagen fox might be the close. somebody here will know. that would actually be nice since you would be able to reach every single one too.

I know it can be done. I was going to use the parts from a plain 4000. Then I found out that the manual regulators are just as bad, so I abandoned the idea. But it would get rid of any wiring problems and of course the motors so it would be worth it for that.

Ideally you'd just find the right car and swap the doors. But barring that, I'd get the insides and door cards. My '84 4kq has manuals in the rear (and I assume most do of that year), so at least you'd have a slightly wider range of cars to choose from.

Thanx both are a big help, time for some digging on which will work the best with little mods.
