Audi 0 Turkey 1
I could not believe my eyes this morning when I see a turkey headbutting my A6. Passenger side all scratched up. Good thing is that it seems like the scratches can easily be removed. Lesson learned, if you are to park your car outside, make sure you don't clean it to mirror like finish or you'd better invest in a car cover. This is the first time I was parking outside the garage because of broken garage door and the turkey picked the best car in the lot.

Sorry to hear of the damage!!
Shoot the turkey. While he might have good taste in cars, he should also taste good. Once he moves to your dinner table, he will not head butt your car anymore.

In some locales, shooting a wild turkey might not be legal. Also, I believe wild turkeys can be kind of tough to eat. (Before or after they're dead but especially before).

Destruction of property is not legal anywhere. HAHA. Self defense I say.
Sorry to hear about the car. This is the first for me so I had to laugh. However your story helps me in my decision not to buy a particular home. I went house hunting and pulled up to a house with some chickens and a rooster walking around (a possible future neighbor). I am not taking chances. I will find another home. Although the garage on this one fits 6 cars, so I doubt I would ever park outside.

These turkeys believe they own the road. There were about 30 of them. Out of view of the photo, the last one bringing up the rear, paused and gave me a really dirty look. I think he was considering an assault but changed his mind and sauntered on. He was probably the leader so that was a good thing - I shudder to imagine 30 wild turkeys attacking my car.

I am not a hunter, but I understand that turkeys for all their reputation as being stupid (and apparent evidence here of same), they apparently are quite aware of guns. Break out a 12GA, and they probably run like the wind.
