How can I connect Ipod to A4
Hello all, I have the base model Audi A 4 2009. It doesn't have the fancy audio system with MMI. I was hoping I could use an Ipod but I'd like to connect it using a cable in the glove box and not use the lesser audio quality headphone jack in the armrest. I'd also like to have the songs show up on the display. Any ideas?
Many thanks.

For hundreds of dollars you can install the components to add the AMI (Audi Musical Interface) system with the cable for iPod in the glove box. Up to you to decide if seeing the same info available on the iPod on the dash is important.
There is no difference in the quality of the sound using the AMI or the stereo jack in the console cubby. The audio is sent to the headunit on the same pins with either system. That is why you can have one or the other, but not both.
Save a few bucks and use the jack. Chances are you will change the MP3 player before you change the car.
