ice link firmware update. Wow
only problems I am having with 2.07 is that it doesnt like to stay in iPod mode (or whatever mode it is when you use the controls on the ipod.
PS is there any way to set resolution so its not tiny on my video>?
seems they would have fixed that by now.

No fix for the tiny menu -- despite Denison's statement that they will fix this.
I am actually running firmware 2.15 (which still has the small menus). VERY tricky to get this given Denison's incredibily bad end user support on things like firmware upgrades.
If you want to try it out, follow the IceLink/iPod integration link in my signature. In the tech article, you'll see a reference to firmware/software updates. Follow that link and you'll see where you can download the later releases.
Good luck.

Avincar, Can I assume you are a Denison reseller?
If so, I'm wondering if you can do us a favor. Can you tell Denison that it totally SUCKS that they do not better support their customers? I have participated in a LOT of posts on this and other forums regarding iPod integration and there is a wide concensus that the IceLink has some great features but need a software update. They also need a whole bunch of work in the user support department.
The "tiny screen" issue is just one nit that shows a pretty serious disregard for their installed base.
Anything you can do would be appreciated.

Wrote the prez a letter...
...he never replied. As far as I can tell there's a lotta drama behind the scenes. I get taken care of, but they do have some support staff internally who shouldn't be in service positions.
Dension EU built the Icelink HW and wrote the Icelink FW.
DICE USA seems to be the people who imported the Icelink into the US (the staff of Dension USA) but is a different company, and the DICE iPod interface seems to be their own design to replace the Icelink HW.
They seem to be cut off from the Dension EU guys and they expect no new FW updates from Dension EU. They don't even deliver 2.15.
They are now spending all their efforts on developing a GM product for revenue purposes.
Along with the support, they also dropped the dealer locator from their DICE website. If you go there to learn about the product, you get the chance to buy from DICE, but no mention of us!
We used to get 4-5 customers a month from that website and now we get nada. But we still get calls for install quotes.
