Default short shifter

Any advice about short shifter brands? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Default get a DTS instead...better feel and response.

i've tried two different SS and still don't find them to be worth the $$. They accentuate the harshness of the linkage becaus you shift 'faster' you will acheive the same result by just cutting off an inch of the shofter handle, IMHO.

Default A good short shifter is mounted on the tranny not inside the car.

The problem with most short shifter is that they not only reduce the throw, but they increase the shifter travel sideways too. it is nearly impossible to have 3-4 and 1-2 aligned properly. If you want to do it right, modify the shift arm on the transmission. That way it will reduce shifter travel only forward and backward.
