wiper blades Q7 2007 = VW Touareg?

If you look at the Bosch part finder the wipers for the two vehicles don't share the same part number. It looks like the Audi is a 26" and a 24" blade, whereas the VW has two 26" blades.

pretty sure my '07 q7 has 26" blades for both the driver and passenger...4L1-955-426-A and 4L1-955-425-B. The two mounts aren't interchangable unless you modify them. I also noticed that the goodyear wiper blades they sell at costco do fit the q7, but the mount is thicker, which makes the wiper arms stick up a bit. Not a big deal though, and MUCH cheaper.

I just retired my Goodyear wipers from Costco. I don't know if the pair I had were defective or not but they were very noisy.
The new pair are by Bosch and they are awesome. Yes, the blades are not the same length but they still do a great job clearing off the entire windshield....quietly!

I'm still running a set of OEM wipers, but I did buy a set of Costco Goodyears when I swap these out.
I love how the OEM wipers work when new, but the rubber is so soft, the first pine needle that gets stuck under the blade creates a permanent streak, and soon the wiper is leaving multiple streaks within just a few weeks. And cleaning the blades just makes it worse. It's kind of annoying to have to make sure there is no debris on the wipers before I even turn them on to avoid ruining them...especially having to clean them when it's raining. The Bosch Icon blades I had on another car were even less durable...started leaving streaks within a day of install, just from some pine needles.
I'm hoping the Goodyears are a little more durable.
Anyone else have better luck with another wiper blade solution?

Wiper Blades on sale at Amazon
Just a heads up, but Amazon has Valeo Wiper Blades on sale, 2 for $20. The ones for the Q7 are the 900-26-7B, which typically go for $21 each.
I picked up a pair for next fall, and they fit perfect just like the OEM, but they don't have the annoying tab that the OEM ones have that makes it a Driver or Passenger side wiper. These will fit either side.
The current version of the 26" Goodyear wipers that they sell at Costco chatter and leave streaks on the Q7, but fortunately they work fine on my other car.

I can't seem to get Amazon to update the blades to that price. I put them in my cart and work through the checkout process, but at the end they are still $21 apiece.

Looks like the deal is gone. For $21, it's definitely not worth it since OEM is $20, but if you see them with the 2 for $20 special, go for them because they are pretty much identical to OEM, but half the price.
