Is there anything available from Audi to replace the front ashtray so it can be turned into a storage compartment of some sort? BMW usually offers such an option and I wonder if Audi does, too.

So did Mercedes, but when I asked the parts dept they did not have one. I took a non-slip pad I had and cut it to fit the bottom of the cavity so nothing would make noise or roll around.

Wow, so you guys have a real ashtray? What came with the A8 was a small container with lid that fit into the cup holder. There was one for the front and one for the back. So once I took those out, I had my cup holders back.
