The monthly UrS reminder post from the folks at STFA.
STFA = Search the forum archives (in this case, my home forum)
(Things to know/remember to check, etc)
1. Are your spark plugs tight?
2. Things that will fail on your AAN (or ABY or ADU) and strand you on the side of the road

Another month, another reminder. NOTE: I've added a new link for item 5 and item 6 "Advanced Search" is borked and the mods are aware of its problem (but haven't fixed it yet, even after several weeks).

Bump. People pay attention. Check your spark plugs. You don't want a loose one blowing out of your head causing all sorts of grief. And then read the other ones.

Update
Despite the fact that I regularyly post or bump this information on 3 or 4 UrS forums on a bi-monthly basis, somebody on one of the fourms managed to ignore No. 1 and blew a spark plug out of the head, sending ceramic shrapnel into the cylinder, causing a serious loss of compression (perhaps due to ring damage or scoring the cylinder walls). It is also rain and leaf season soon so pay attention to No. 2 as well. The rest, well, I can lead a horse to info but I can't make him think.
