remove the seatbelt chime on a 2006 A8. When you are just sitting in the car while listening to the radio it would be nice not to have to have the seatbelt chime going off every 30 seconds or so. Also, if there is any other VAG-COM mods that are worth doing it would be great to know about them.
TIA.

Can also...
set it to turn the inst. lights on all the time while running, and/or to program the remote to drop and raise all windows (or sunroof).
Documented via STFA.
You can also switch the service intervals to either shorter or to the long life oil sensor measurement (up to 2 years, 19K miles for longer ave. driving cycles, and as short as 9K miles for heavy short cycles). Never heard anyone in U.S. setting it this way, but the parts are there and in Europe I understand you can tell them on delivery which set up you want.

Had to enter module 17 "instrument cluster" using VagCom, clicked on coding, changed the second to the last digit from a 3 to a 0 for the coding value. This worked in my 05. No need to do any adaptation.
