Default Urs6 Stutter and Jerk Accelerating

Hi all!

Lately, I have been having issues with my car accelerating rather roughly and not evenly at all. It feels almost like cylinders are missing. Some days I'll start it right up and it'll be fine, but a minute later it will be stuttering to accelerate. I think it might be a coil pack or fuel injector issue, but I was hoping someone could maybe shed light on this problem if they have encountered something similar. Thanks!

POS or coil most likely. Are you still running stock ignition? Many have moved on to LS2 or something for ~$400

Yeah, I am still running stock ignition. What would be the best way to tell which is going bad?

Thanks! Helpful as always. Looks like it's time to troubleshoot for a while.

I checked out the POS and they weren't the issue. I took another look at my spark plugs and a couple of them had a weird gapping issue. I replaced the plugs and it fixed the problem temporarily, but a few drives later, it started doing the same thing. Could it be the rubber boots on the coil packs?

I had the same EXACT same issue. Very frustrating and the codes didn't point to coilpacks but I did the 034 Motorsport coil swap and have had zero issues with it since. Took an educated guess that was my issue and knew I was increasing my reliability of ignition even if it wasn't the problem.

I would think its a high probablity thats your issue and a coilpack swap will fix your problems.

*Just to add, cleaned the plugs and it made the issue less pronounced. So did temp and humidity but now I have no symptoms. I did go ahead and change out the plugs too when I did the swap.
