Hello all.I have a 2001 A6 quattro 2.7t.
On the way to work today, fired up the car ran it for about 5 minutes, got in and started driving to work. When I was pulling in the parking lot, I noticed in the rearview mirror that behind me there's some smoke. Figured It couldnt be me, my car never did that. After pulling in my spot, i realized it deffinatley was me. There was a substantial amount of smoke coming out from both tailpipes and with the engine running there is a lot of crankcase pressure. When I removed the oil cap, it hissed and vapor/smoke escaped. Pulled the dipstick out and I almost got a jetstream of oil in my face (got the car next to me anyway lol).
I live 1.3 miles from work. I rarely drive this car on the highway (maybe once every 2 weeks) or more than 15 miles; I try my best to warm up the car and let it run before and after I drive it, but most of the time it never reaches op. Temp. I live in northern ohio and this year its been very very cold around here. Temps averaged in the low 20s with a few cold snaps where it got in the negatives too. I check my oil once in a while, because as most 2.7s, it leaks...and I wipe off the gunky crud off my oil cap every week.
What could have happened? Drove the car around yesterday (maybe 10 miles) and it was perfectly fine. Then today - not so much. Could my pcv / spider hoses gum up or plug up that bad in a day? Did I loose a turbo? Any input?

Some more info: while j drove and had the hood up, I heard no turbo whine or any kind of noise to indicate failure. After The car sat in the sun and "thawed" for a few hours in 25° whether (lol) I fired it up and ran it for 20-25 min without a problem. No smoke no pressure everything ran fine.

Any aspects of the pcv system I should look for in particular?
