Chip or computer re-program for a TDI
I am considering a chip or re-program to boost performance of my 2010 Q7 TDI
and am wondering if anyone has first hand experience with either and the pros and cons of each.
Thanks

I had my old A6 Lemans 3.0 Tdi remapped and it transformed the engine, better pull from lower down and revved with power till the red line. From 233-285 ish bhp and 450-550 ish nm.
I was lucky to purchase my new Q7 My11 4.2 Tdi already remapped so from 340-400+ bhp and 800-900+ nm and it is so effortless to accelerate at lower revs but it almost feels too quick for the car at WOT.

In my A6 it was a company called Angel Tuning, i had no reliability issues and normal usage and cruising the car became more economical. if i wanted to press on you could tell and it drank a little more fuel.
In the Q7 a company called DMS Automotive and i cant comment as i purchased it already mapped but it is better than i was expecting on fuel so i would say it has made this more economical too.
As long as you find a company with experience and a good reputation you should be fine.
