Default satellite icon has disappeared from MMI

I have a 2010 Q5 S line, a couple of months ago the satellite or sirrus icon disappeared from the MMI, it use to say AM,FM or sirrus when pushing the band button and you could toggle between them selecting which band you wanted. Now the sirrus option has literally disappeared from the screen. I have contacted sirrus and it doesn't seem to be a problem on there end. Audi service says bring it in and for $198 they will hook it up to the all knowing scan tool. I have seen other threads that describe an update that you download onto an sd card then insert into slot in car that would update MMI. Does anyone know where or what web site I might get the update download from? Any information or fix for this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try doing a hard reset with the MMI?

I thought the satellite dish icon on the dash indicated that the clock was linked to GPS satellite and would automatically adjust.

whoops, just re-read your post. My bad.
