Default Bose Premium 215W Audi System With XM

Please someone give me a description of this sound system... will I be happy with it in my 2004 1.8T? Anyone tried adding anything onto it, even though Bose says not to?

Thanks guys...

Default I liked the Bose system in my car.

It was pretty clear (unless you went past 20 on the volume) I added 2 tens. If you give me a good price, them, the amp, and a custom box can be urs.

Default If your like me, just add some oomph to your Bose

I am happy with the Bose, even though its not the best. You can add a mono amp and nice sub to compensate and later upgrade the speakers. Who says you cant do anything to a Bose system?

Default is it ok if you change all the speakers and add 2 subs and an amp...

but keep the bose deck? the reason i ask is cuz a new deck kinda looks outta place, and i like how the original deck looks.

Default yes its fine but with that upgrade you have to go with a nice amp to power your speakers

to do any justice to your setup. of course this defeats the BOSE upgrade. I believe the BOSE amp powers the rear speakers and sub and the Symphony II powers the front two and center. your call.

Default The sound quality is GREAT, but it seriously lacks the oomp

I was used to with my old system....I have dreams about my infinity kappa perfect system....but I imagine that with a good 10 in the trunk it'd be much better.
