Hi, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have just bought a new Audi A3 and in order to connect my ipod I had to buy an adapter which fits into a socket in the armrest. It works brilliantly but I was wondering if when not using my vehicle I would have to completely remove the cable from the socket in order not to flatten the battery or could I just unplug the iPod and leave the rest plugged in. I'm concerned that if I have to keep unplugging the whole cable it might damage the armrest mmi socket. I would be grateful for any advice.
