Default Some satisfaction in repair

So I finally managed to get my out of warranty 2009 A4 2.0T repaired. My Dealer (Queensway Audi) went to bat on my behalf and convinced Audi Canada to foot a major part of the bill in which the dealer participated as well. My participation was $500. After the repair, all seems well. I have driven approx. 5000 kilometers (3000 miles) and it is down 1/4 of the quart which is a huge improvement. My car is at 105,000 kilometers and it is consuming at a lower rate than when it was brand new. I was close to getting rid of the car but I may now hang on to it.

2011 Q5 with 2.0t going in to dealer tomorrow for consumption test.
I have 71,000 miles and have used a quart in about 1200-1500 miles.
43k for a car with this millage and uses oil like this is ridiculous.
My RX330 with 225k didn't use a quart in 8000 miles. i have a 100k warranty.
I sure hope Audi fixes this or it will be my last Audi.

Default Oil Consumption

Has anyone else who had the pistons changed noticed any loss of power?

I just had my pistons changed about 3 weeks ago on my 2010 Audi
A4 and I noticed a loss of power as well as a very strong burning oil smell inside the vehicle I never had before. I returned to the dealer 2 times already first they replaced the turbo charger and my car was still slow. Brought it back again and they said they had to update the transmission. I am bringing it back for the 4th time today because none of these fixed the issues. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Did an engine oil consumption test months and thousands of miles ago (maybe around 40k). They changed out the rings and what not that time which helped with the oil consumption and just having to top it off every 3k miles or so (which is within acceptable range for Audi). At around 70k now, I was starting to have to top off my engine oil every 1k miles. The same dealer had to check with Audi if it was something they could address and pay for since I was out of my warranty, which they said they would later that day.

Had to pay for an oil change to do the oil consumption test again, and it failed with the light going on again after about 1k miles. They agreed to do the piston ring change, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out for my car!
