Can you place a value on the 12yr corrosion warranty?
My 2 month, 2,000 mile A4 was involved in an accident last week. The warranty manual states the warranty is void and null if any surface is repaired or painted. Since part of the purchase price was to buy this warranty, I would like his insurance company to reimburse me. I live in Vermont so we have 6 months of salty roads.

I think it would depend on what panels have to be repaired or replaced. Also check on what rust warrantee the body shop would give on the repair. Another question I would have is whether Audi would still cover it for 12 years if you used original body panels and an Audi-certified body shop (if that's the case I think the insurance should go this path).
If nothing works... I think the value would be in the $500 to $1000 range, although I'm guessing the insurance company won't want to pay anything like that.
