Getting a headlight bulb replacement warning in the car. saw a bulb for sale on ebay for cheap. is this the oem bulb for our cars? should I swap out both since I'm doing one already?

What exactly is the warning message? Is it the Adaptive Headlight warning?

I recommend you go with a name brand bulb and that you replace both at the same time and save the good bulb for emergencies.

DRAMA!!!

So my DRIVER SIDE bulb went out this year. Last year it was Passenger side and I had it done at the dealer while I was in for service. Got MUGGED on it so I decided to do the Driver's side myself since this tutorial spells it out so clearly. I bought the bulb from Amazon for a GREAT price only to find out the order is being fulfilled by a company in CHINA. I ordered the build on October 22 and STILL have not received it. I see now that Amazon is now using someone else to fulfill the orders but the bulb has tripled in price but is still half the price of the dealership.

MY QUESTION IS...sorry for the backstory...

I am concerned about the color temp matching up since I am just doing one bulb. What is the color temp of our OEM bulb? I may have to get the bulb from the stealership so the temp matches.

Are they really 4300k? Other manufacturers who put in 4300k end up having lights that have a yellower white look while looking at my A6, It has more of a blue-ish white tint to it which leads me to believe the lights are in the 5000k range. I might be wrong though.
