A leak down test will answer that question.
A red neck way to do it is make sure the cylinder is at TDC and on the compression stroke and find a way to put an air hose where the spark plug should be. Blow compressed air in and you will hear it whistling out the intake manifold or the exhaust if the valves are bent. Turn 360 to confirm you are on compression stroke. |
