My 06 A8L remote range is pretty good, it's actually better than the distance I have on this video. Love those LEDS on the door handles and the side view mirrors.

Put 10 cars between you and the car.....probably would be less. I don't know how Toyota can have a range of 200 feet in a Camry rental car across the parking lot and Audi has a range of 30 feet.

I guess they know you own the Audi and know where it is and the Camry is a renal car and you have no idea what make or color it is so you press the "I'm getting raped" button on the remote.

If I don't see my car, I wouldn't just push the unlock button. I would just hate to unlock the door by mistake while the remote is in the pocket far away from my car. I think 20-30 ft is perfect. Last night, my family was waiting at the car in Walmart parking lot, I had to get some oil for this week oil change, I could actually unlock the car behind more than 10 cars and everyone was surprised seeing the doors unlocked and NOT seeing me insight.
