My across-the-street neighbor got a new "BMW 550xi"...
He said its a 550xi. "Special ordered from Germany" he says... It's REALLY nice (white on dark brown). But, I thought there was a 530xi and a 550i, but no 550xi. He had the dealership take the badges off, so without being an *** and asking for a peak under the hood, I just nodded along. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?
BTW, the guy has a collection of cars that is WAY out of line for the neighborhood or what he paid for the house about a year ago:

05 CLK500 with big, honkin chrome rims(traded in an 04 E-500)
05 Land Rover Sport
He also has a Civic coupe with mild body kit and a Mits Montero with TV screens in the headrests...
