Default well good for you guys.

just hope nothing really changes. i can already see the forums littered with even more crappy ads like those garbage sites.
hopefully the site doesn't go down the crapper.

Default Nothing is intended to change

Our community was recognized as being very unique and nobody wants to mess up the chemistry. If anything I think IB and some of its other sites can learn from AW.

As stated in the information it is going to be business as usual as long as I'm involved... and I plan to be around for a long time.

Default Good question

We feel like Kawf is one of our major differentiators. We also know that from a development and application (add-on) perspective there are some gaps.

IB is not going to make us move to vBulletin (which they recently bought as well) any time in the foreseeable future. This is a holy grail topic for us.

But I would like to explore how to get Kawf functionality out of vB. I would like to explore how to make the discussion forums a better experience for everybody no matter what their forum software preference. Does that make sense?

Default congrats.

This was an eventual thing to happen. The site started out real small, and in only a matter of years, has grwon, and now bought out.
Well done guys.
srsly.
