A question about rear strut-tower cracks...
I noticed CP (Cy) had posted a response to Bryan S's post regarding 97's. He mentioned the plastic rear uplinks that are now included on the A4's. I'm assuming he's either talking about the arms either breaking/cracking or the strut-tower cracking (I'ver heard of both situations). I'll be receiving an '01 in a few months and am getting quite nervous from what I hear about those cracks especially since I'd like to put a rear anti-sway on it eventually. Any comments would be helpful.

@What?!
Nover heard of the A4 tower cracking, since it doesn't have struts, or strut towers. The rear bar mounts cracked with too big of a rear bar (not sport). There have been upgraded mounts available for over a year. A big rear bar is best for autocross or really wide tires.

O.K. that's what I'm talking about. Haven't heard enough detail/info about them to
ask an accurate question. So, you're saying the factory has remedied this or is there an upgrade available for purchase?
