Turbocharged cars are more sensitive to intake and exhaust air temperatures than those with natural aspiration. Indeed, charged air must be heavily cooled before reaching the cylinders, necessitating large intercoolers.

The intake manifold contains the volume of air that your engine burns, and a newly developed method of keeping the manifold temperatures lower comes from New South Performance, in the form of their composite gaskets.

An astounding 20-30 degree cooler air temperature is the result of a 30-50 degree cooler manifold with trick NSP heat-shielding gaskets.
