I'm considering a 2014 A4 premium however I would like the B&O sound system, which isn't an option at this package level. This would potentially be a deal breaker for me, so I'm wondering if I go the ED route.. would it be possible in any way to get this option added? How much flexibility do I have?

Personally - I don't think this will happen. Remember, you pick up car build for US. You can do custom colors, but basic staff like stereo or different stop light color - I don't think this will fly.

Thanks for the help. I am on the fence between BMW and Audi, and if Audi will let me do one custom item, then that will probably push me over the edge. I'm even willing to do ED if that will help. We shall see!

Audi is pretty explicit that ED cars follow the current US order sheet, so I believe you are SOL. Sure would be cool to be able to mix and match like Euro cars - but I wouldn't want to pay Euro pricing so I guess it's all even in the end.
