B5 S4 and B5 A4 rear brake caliper carrier the same?
Hey guys.. broke the Rear brake carrier pin connecting the caliper to the carrier off of my 2002 s4. As i'm sure some of you guys know... it's impossible to find just the pins and you have to purchase the whole carrier. I'm looking at one on ebay that is used.. from a 1998 A4, says it'll fit 96-05 A4s.. is this part compatible with my car? Thanks!

N 102 409 01 is the upper bolt
N 101 815 02 is the lower bolt...
double check with the stealership though, maybe they super-ceded.
Good luck, oh ya they are a little different, one's ventilated and the other isn't. But these bolts are ran on both calipers.
So says the parts list.

I wish that was my problem, I need the Sliding pins that connect by bolt from the Carrier to the Caliper itself. I wonder if the pins in that A4 Carrier could be transferred to my S4 carrier.

you could have the dealer figure out which calipers you have. Or you can look your self. in the trunk is a white tag bout 2 inches in width, and 3 or 4 inches in length. It has all code abbreviation of which components are installed in that car. If you see PR-1KD or PR-1KE then you'll know which you got.
There's a site that has all that information. Can't remember what it is, but if ya search here, you'll find something about it.
