The fender flares are (obviously) not original to the Coupe' S body, but serve a purpose. Theo spent a LONG time on the car, and put a lot of work into the details....little things that give such projects a finished look. Headlight wipers, working A/C, extra gauges, but all done in the proper '70s green script, INCLUDING a custom-made gauge showing the gearshift pattern....all SIX forward gears!
Some time ago I came across a picture of a Fox (mid to late '70s) that had also been converted to a quattro....put onto a 4KQ floorpan & running gear I think. It was done in the same color. I forget where it was on display (don't even remember what country), but when people saw the Quattro script on the car, they IMMEDIATELY looked underneath the rear (and saw what they couldn't believe!).
Theo said that there is going to be an article about his car coming up on Fourtitude.
What more can I say? He is a true Audi enthusiast blending his love of the old with the benefits of technology.
