Using VCDS and Snap On tool. I had read that could effect it but made no difference.

You don't have to change ATF in order to update software. I can't find PDF file about hooting and ATF flush to the blue, but MP has it. It includes adaptation instructions.

Oh ok. I thought when you change to the blue fluid you have to update it. Well I guess it doesn't hurt to try to update it on the current fluid. Heck i'll ask the dealer tomorrow about the fluid change TSB and see what they say. Thank you Misha. I hope they don't charge me a lot doing it.

Try first adaptation yourself as TSHong did. It is described in PDF attached.

OMG Misha you are the man. Thank you very much. I'm for sure going to try this and with my fingers crossed this should work. TSHONG didn't do this procedure. He kept driving it and it got better as time on and it finally adapted itself. With the low mileage 77k I have I don't see a whole lot of wear in this gearbox. Plus I just recently put in a new battery. This will help a lot. I'm not going to spend money again on a service because it was done 14K miles ago. I'll see what the dealer will do and if they don't do anything then this is what I will do.

I tried but this adaptation did not work for me. It got better on it's own.

Update, I just got a call back from the dealer and they did the adaptation drive procedure and no change. I got a feeling me driving it wont be any better. Now they want to do the blue fluid update and the cost for that is 1255.84 plus tax. I have some decsions to make. What do you think I should do? Should I chance it and put the money in it or just say screw it? Another step after that is to change the megatronics unit which is part of the valve body and That will cost 4000 plus tax and that's if that fluid change and update doesn't work. Opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
