Default 1.8t AEB temperature gauge

When the temperature gauge in the cluster works the engine runs fine (A bit rough idle), but when it doesnt work the idle is even rougher and no het in the cabin.

Only error codes are 2x "Throttle body (J338), fault in basic settings" and a abs sensor..

Maybe the connector for the temperature sensor is loose. Since the sensor has two independant temperature elements, the one for the gauge should not affect how the car runs. The only way I see for no heat in the cabin is that the blower won't run in automatic mode (for heat) until the sensor reports hot enough coolant, and if the connnector is loose, that won't happen.
