Finally got the call today

My dealer called Wednesday and said my car arrived and they wanted to schedule delivery. Unfortunately, we are all set to get hit with our first winter storm later day and tomorrow with ice and snow

. Inasmuch as I'd like to get the car ASAP it might have to wait until things clear up a little on Saturday. The last thing I need is an accident on the way home from picking it up.

You've got a lot more self-control than I do. There's no way I could wait to pick up such a great new car. Congrats and stay safe. Steve

I think the Q5 will fare much better in snow and ice than your TT-RS

I'd say if you really want to pick it up go for it and drive carefully on the way home if the bad weather hits.

We picked ours up on an unusually nice November evening last year. About 1/2 mile from home we missed hitting a good sized deer by inches. You just never know.
