Sorry have searched and searched, but can't seem to find a complete list of all mods that can be done on a 2013 A6. If someone could post, that would be great. (the lists I have seen, don't indicate seat belt chime, "I accept" screens, door chimes - so wondering about those too). Also, anyone with a VAG in NNJ?

I was about to propose an all out A6/A7 wiki (since the A7 is so similar). We could easily rough it out in a few days if we get a few people from both sides on board.

The wiki would/should include:

- All Trims,engines,features,yearly changes, pricing.
- All Vagcom possibilities and how to do them.
- All bug reports, all recalls, and all open issues... and how to fix them.
- All Mods, tricks, hardware and software with compatibility to engine,trim... etc

But I'm quite busy and didn't want to be the leader to something I didn't have time for.

I've found many of these work but not all will for the C7, at least for me.

Working for me:

VIM (Video in Motion)
Remote Key windows up/down, sunroof tilt up/down
Gauge test needle sweep on start
DRL brightness intensity with headlights on
Display gear number in D or S

Not working for me:

Consumption adjustment (calibrating DIS MPG computer)
Turn indicator soft touch (changing directional signal from 3 flashes)
Front fogs stay on with high beams (I have LED headlights with LED all weather/turning lights)
Auto release emergency brake w/o seatbelt on

Not tried but others may have had success:

Emergency braking w/flashing lights
Hidden menu w/access to lap timer
Remove seatbelt chime
LED headlights at full brightness with parking lights on

The following works on my 2013 C7 Prestige with Innovation, cold weather package and LED.

VIM (Video in Motion)
Remote Key windows up/down, sunroof open/close (not just tilt)
Gauge test needle sweep on start
Display gear number in D or S
Remove seatbelt chime
Hidden menu

Programmed but not tested yet
Emergency braking with flashing brake light and hazard (will try that tonight, if it works, the 4-way will stay on)

Will program the following tonight
Ripping of CD to jukebox (from hidden menu)
Display battery level - since the MMI can display oil level, should work with battery too), I used the start/stop a lot, would like too see how the battery hold up.

It appears the start/stop is disable when the ambient temperature is below freezing, anyone notice that?

Speed limit on HUD

Don't think the lap timer will work as we have a different wiper stalk.

Once the dealer has my steering issues sort out, will see if the efficency mode works on our car.

I used the Ross-tech cable with ver. 12 (beta) software on 64bit win 7 machine.

Have you heard that speed limit in the HUD was a possibility? Would love to have this mod.

It looks like the car uses the camera to read the sign, but NA road sign is different than RoW, not sure if this will work on NA model.

Since the GPS display the speed limit, why can't the car get it from there?
