Default A7 Sport Package for Prestige?

I am looking at the A7 Prestige with Innovation package.

What benefits are there from the sport packages for the $1,500 asking price?

Thanks

Audi Sport packages are cheap for what you get. $1500 for 20 inch wheels, sport suspension and 4 spoke wheel.

The Prestige models already have the S line bumpers and grill included.

Thanks.

But what exactly does the 20 inch wheel do for you vs. the standard 19 inch wheel? And how much more effective is the sports suspension vs. the one that is standard, which I imagine is already superb?

Would an average person notice these differences?

Couple comments on the sport packages... I had it on my '08 A6. From a standpoint of cornering and performance its great. The car is so planted and hardly any body roll. The sport package also lowers the car maybe a 1/2 inch so overall the stance looks more aggressive and the wheel gap is reduced.

HOWEVER, sport package have some big disadvantages.

1) If you are driving in snow/ice you will need to get another set of tires. The Z-Rated/Summer tires are good for only dry conditions. I found this out the hard way.

2) Also the summer tires will wear quicker so plan on replacing sooner and they are not cheap. Also the tires are low(er) profile so any potholes or curbs are a big danger zone.

3) Also if in snow the lowering of the car will prevent going through high snow as the car begins to act like a plow

4) Lastly... The ride is noticeably firmer. On anything other than smooth pavement you will feel over bump and ridge.

So the sport packages are nice, but you have to ask yourself if you really are going to need/want the benefits to offset the downsides.

I would ask the dealer to drive an A6 w/ sport package to sample the ride.

Good luck!!
