Default OBDII cable for vag-com, will work for ford mustang?

Is it possible for me to use my millisi OBDII cable to read the error codes from a 1997 ford mustang?

i know we use an ISO interface, and the mustang is a PWM interface. maybe just with different software, but same cable?

if not, i guess ill just drive my friends car over to autozone to get them checked.

Default

ISO and SAE J1850-PWM require different circuitry.
