It would be a pity if something such as a hot cup of coffee would "land in your lap" at a restaurant, only to find that you had not completed the prerequisite "inspection" beforehand.
Also, are we only to respond to items in this forum that addresses us directly, or are we free to respond in general?
On the other hand, and not meaning to get in your face, how can you be so sure that it didn't address me directly? If I was an illegal immigrant, I might just be offended.

You're right about forums, but I would like to add that you shouldn't have an expectation that comments will always conform to your ideal, or never offend you...somehow.
