Would this subwoofer work? Are the ohms (8 or 4 ohms?) and wattage correct? What about the depth for where it is currently mounted? Would it sound proper?

Its easy enough to swap them out, just dont wanna screw the system up.

Thoughts???
want to try this: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...TOKEN=12184245 ?

it looks like it might fit just fine.

My DF is the Q5's primary driver, it I drove it more then once a week I'd change the sub...

Hello,

I would like to wire in a new subwoofer and amp.

I would like to take the feed from the low level input prior to it entering the factory amp.

The amp is located in the boot side panel.

I also need the 12v remote wire.

Can anyone tell me the wire colours I need for the above or better still a wiring diagram??

Many thanks mark.

Replacing the sub without upgrading the power will only yield minimal improvement and IMO is a waste of time and money. Do it right and get a custom enclosure with a proper amp. JL Stealthbox is a great solution for many cars, unfortunately they don't make anything for Audi.
