Default oem ipod adapter ,help!

HI People, iv got an A4 B6 2002 avant with RNS-D the plus with TV and BOSE.
So Iv got the audi adapter 8e0 051 444 B and iv cut the plug off and used an old golf mirror plug to connect direct to the CD changer input. I used the thread by* audioligisTT.* He
shows the wire colurs and order but he dose install on CONCERT II* .THE Plug ect on the C II and my unit are the same.* I GET MY ipod charging and audi LOGO* but display on RNS says No cd changer connected.along the top of screen it says destination entry is on.
when I re-connect cd changer it works fine.** Iv done loads of mods in my time and have worked on porsche
for 15 years. so Im quite knowledgeable about auto electrics . * I also have vag-com 912.* I think it might need reprog.
but cd is working, and still works (when re-connected) so not sure.**** THANKS in advance for any help,* Regards Phil

Default NO CD CHANGER

Did you ever get this fixed? I have an RNS-D in a 2001 S8; I had a PhatBox for 5 years and now a DICE DUO with a 4S. The PhatBox would periodically tell me NO CD CHANGER and I had to unplug it. The DICE didnt do this for 4-5 months and now it happens all the time.
