I have a difficult time with changing the design of what is (IMO) one of, if not, the best engineered piece of transportation on the planet.
If you are having to deal with overheating issues a aftermarket electric fan is questionable (IMO) and a wasted effort at an upgrade.
But it's your effort, so onward through the fog..

No issues with overheating, just want to free up HP that the engine-driven fan saps from the motor by replacing it with a more efficient electric fan. This isn't anything new; many cars have come factory this way. Why Audi engineers chose not to do it that way I don't know. If a relatively easy solution is available, why not? Just sayin'...
if you really need to go fast. (just a thought).
